Let’s get started!

It’s likely this is your first time
visiting this site, so let’s hold hands.

We don’t have to hold hands for long and we certainly
don’t have to do it in public. But, this page might help
you get better acquainted with JasonDoesStuff.

These are the “award-winning” articles you should read first.

And by “award-winning” I mean, every week I find emails in my inbox asking very similar questions. Over the years I’ve written articles that have answered those questions. So, yeah, these win awards in my mind!

You found hidden gem #4: Two gems on one page?? Whoa nelly! Keep finding these for something fun...

Running an online business and living an intentional life doesn’t happen by magic. It takes fancy apps, software, and random monthly subscription products (plus a little magic too!) Some of these links are affiliate links, but I promise I use and love these companies.

Website Hosting: Flywheel

I. Just. Love. Flywheel. They’ve taken the “yuck” out of website hosting is yuck. If you have a WordPress site, you should definitely be hosting it with Flywheel.

Email Marketing: Drip

I’ve used a ton of different email marketing platforms. Drip is my current email provider of choice and I love the mix of user-friendliness with optional complex features.

File Sharing/Storage: Dropbox

I still backup my Macbook Pro using an external hardrive (this one, in fact), but I also happily pay for Dropbox for cloud storage and simple file organization.

Writing: Bear App

With over 3,000,000 words typed since 2014, I’ve definitely tried writing apps of all shapes and sizes. My newest favorite is Bear and I’m really happy with it. I also love my editor Chantel.

Yes, that is me. And yes, I am wearing a cheshire cat costume in a tree.

Listen, if you haven’t realized by now, I like to have fun. We only get one shot at this thing called life and I like to embrace my weird and randomness.

If random photos of me are something you enjoy, I think we’ll get along just fine.

I’m not an expert, guru, influencer, or any other random words people use to describe themselves. I’m simply a guy who enjoys building things and sharing my experiences along the way.

The world of online business and entrepreneurship could use a little less “how to make money doing XYZ” and a little more “here’s a photo of me in a tree.” I hope you’ll enjoy visiting JasonDoesStuff and watching me do just that on a regular basis.
